What does the name Genetrix mean and how did you come up with it?

While doing research for a suitable name back in June 1994, owner Jeff Tollefson came upon an article about Aphrodite in our Encyclopedia Brittanica (Ready Reference book A-ak-Bayes; 15th edition, pg 480-481)

"On the Isle of Crete, the goddess of fertility, Aphrodite, was universally honoured as Genetrix, the creative element in the world."

   (Inquiring minds may want to know!)
